Welcome to our Complementary Therapies Clinic!
The Calm Blue Room first opened in 2009 in London Bridge. After a sucessful couple of years we moved to the heart of Waterloo, just one minute's walk from "The Cut", with a fantastic view of the Old Vic Theatre. With our new prime location we are quickly becoming the perfect escape for city workers and the local community.
This month we welcome Laurelle Akintade, who's joining our team to add Sports, Deep Tissue and Swedish Massage to our range of treatments. For first time clients she's giving 50% discount during the month of May.
Plantar Fasciitis and Emmett Technique
"Plantar Fasciitis occurs when the long, flat ligament on the sole of the foot (Plantar Fascia) stretches irregularly and develops small tears that cause the ligament to become inflamed. The pain can be on the heel, arch and sole of the foot. It is described as dull, aching or sharp, and can be easily reproduced by flexing the toes upwards to tense the fascia."
